"More, and then more 

there’s more to this, than this life

it’s engraved into my thoughts-

a light blue, flashing neon sign that alerts me of its presence.

i think of the stars and there fulgent existence.

the resplendent moon, so stunning-  

a soft, kind companion placed for me

and for you specifically.

don’t you want to explore it? 

i long for it

i long to see him up close, talk to him.

reminisce with him all the moments 

we shared in times past.

i look up and i think of the galaxies-

so far, yet so close i can almost touch it.

they’re waiting, in loving patience,

yearning to divulge its grandiose we’ve wondered so immensely about-

the cause of our occhiolism.

i think of the ultimate reason:

the Source of it all.

every question, every thought, every secret, every experience.

i envision the captivating hold in His eyes,

the deep tranquility that will be in an instant. 

the deep love and understanding in a flash

and i know-

there’s more to this, than this life."
